How to Spot Fake Prada Heels

How can you tell if the pair of Prada heels that you are about to buy online are genuine? Follow these 7 simple steps to verify the authenticity of your purchase. Always ask the seller to use the youVerify app prior to purchase. It's Smarter Selling & Safer Shopping.

Step 1: Shoe Box
Prada heels are packaged in strong shoe box. Most often this shoe box is dark purple with the 'PRADA' rope design logo embossed on the top and 'Milano' and 'DAL 1913' all in capital letters. Check the size, font and placement of the logo carefully. Other colours and styles have been used by Prada including white with gold.  Remember that real shoe boxes can accompany fake shoes.

Step 2: Box Label
Prada shoe boxes feature product details detailing style/model number, color and size information, sometimes these details are embossed into the box itself. Check the details match those of the shoe.

Step 3: Care Card
New Prada heels are accompanied by a care card. The Prada logo will be embossed in gold on the front and the inside will have shoe care instructions in multiple languages

Step 4: Dust Bag
New Prada heels are accompanied by a branded dust bag. This most often features the 'PRADA' logo sometimes with 'Milano' and 'DAL 1913' all in capital letters. There are some variations to style and colour but the quality of the material and finish are always high.

Step 5: Insole Logo
Prada insoles feature the 'PRADA' logo in capital letters above the heel. Check the size, font and placement of the logo carefully. Below is written 'Milano' or 'Made in Italy'. Some styles may vary, for example vintage heels may say just Prada.

Step 6: Sole Logo
The soles of Prada heels feature the 'PRADA' logo written in capitals, or the pronounced Prada badge shaped like a T usually in gold. The size will also feature. Some styles include the words 'Made in Italy', and 'Vero Cuoio', meaning 'real leather'.
